Today the surgeon had a look down Spiros’ throat to check on progress. The good news is the throat is healing well, however the process of putting a strobe down his throat was very painfull and Spiros can’t talk again until his throat has rested a bit. There is still...

Not a lot to report. No real change from yesterday. Last night sleep was a challenge. Tomorrow he will have the doctors appointment to assess healing of wound. 

Spiros was in better spirits when I saw him this morning. They are upping the food through the tube and have removed the IV. He still needs rest and has had some visitors today already which was nice. Tonight there is a couple of people going so anyone else best to wait till tomorrow as...

Spiros is a little better today. Talking is easier but still hurts. The pain and discomfort is still there. He is getting plenty of sleep which is really helping. Still no visitors today, but hopefully tomorrow evening he will be well enough to see people.
