Spiros second surgery today to remove the cancer went well. The robotic surgery was able to remove the lump in one go – the surgeon was extremely pleased with the result. He is now in a ward at St Vincents hospital recovering. He can’t speak yet and is on morphine for the pain so mainly sleeping. Once the swelling in his tongue goes down in the next 48hours he will be able to speak a little. Not sure how long hex will be in hospital yet – 5-7days most likely. All his girls are well. Not sure he will want a picture posted – enjoy the view from his ward on a gorgeous sydney day.
